what happens to us
but we all have a choice
on how we react when
something happens to us."
All I Am
"I can live,
my whole life,
in fear,
of who I am,
or I can go out
and be all I am."
Knowing God
"Knowing God
changes us,
if the change is not
for the better,
for the good,
then we, in fact,
do not know God,
but merely the selfish
desires of our own
wanting hearts."
Fell
"From glory's heights
and so we fell,
straight down to
the depths of hell.
Our destruction's
coming well-nigh,
but for salvation sent
from on high.
As fell beasts
our time we spent,
by our own hands
our souls we bent.
True innocence
yet for us to find,
in the sacred reach
of our inner-child."
Footprint
"Expansion,
development,
so the human footprint
continues to grow.
To what extent,
to what end,
I cannot tell,
I do not know."
Enemy Within
"You are your own
worst enemy,
you are the one
you must defeat.
You may lose the battle
many a time,
at best win a few,
but the war is long fought
with victory still in sight."
