A WALK IN THE WOODS AND OTHER STORIES BY JAKE HATCH is made up of three flash fiction pieces. The first story, "Bad Date", about a man trying to date after the death of his wife. Dan attempts to go on a date with Natalie, a young woman he has just met. Their date goes through some serious, comedic, and suspenseful topics. The second action filled story, "A Walk in the Woods", is about three young adults camping in the woods when a loud noise makes them up, our narrator, Maggie and Johnny go find out what the disturbance is. They soon discover that what they will found maybe too much for them to handle. My last story, "The Car" is about Jake, a reserved high schooler who is checking up on an old friend. Jake has to walk the line between his new and old friends

Jake Hatch is a screenwriter specializing in suspense, action, and thrillers. He is currently earning his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Entertainment at Full Sail University. He has written and directed several short films and his story "Crazy Ride" has been published in the Scarlet Leaf Review. He also enjoys spending his free time photographing landscapes and nature scenes.
