Autorenporträt

Ellen Murray Chamberlain has dedicated her life to storytelling, children's reading programs, and children's literature. Now retired, she spent her professional years as a public school librarian, a storyteller on public TV in Michigan, a children's literature professor in South Carolina, and University of South Carolina Beaufort Campus Library Director. She was always on the lookout for interesting read-aloud stories to share with children, especially action stories appealing to young boys as well as girls. That's how A Zillion Eggs for Easter, her first story for publication, came about.
