Produktbeschreibung
Abraham Lincoln was elected President of the United States in 1861. During his reign, the American Civil War broke out between the industrial North and the agricultural South over the abolition of the slavery system. The Northerners relied on mechanized industry, while the Southerners relied on slaves in agriculture, especially cotton cultivation. Lincoln led the Northerners by announcing the Slave Emancipation Act. 1863 to unify the country. Lincoln is considered a president who enjoys a great deal of sympathy, given his history and his being surrounded by various forms of greatness and respect among Americans, and his image on the American currency is still in circulation today. Lincoln was born in 1809 AD in the American state of Illinois into a poor family of farmer parents. Lincoln did not obtain a formal education, but he was able to form a high culture as a result of his extensive reading of major Western books. In 1837, after teaching himself the principles of English and American law, Lincoln entered the bar association and opened a law office with one of his acquaintances, and he later became a lawyer. He was successful, as he began to progress into political and party work. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in April 1865, a month after renewing his presidency, by John Wilkes Booth, one of the actors in a play he was watching.
