As a University Lecturer, I see students matriculate to commence their university journey and congregate to be dispatched into the world of work each year. Over the years, my interactions with first-year students show that most of them begin their academic journeys with the desire to make top grades, yet only a few end up with those grades. Admittedly, the University is not a place for only academic degrees, but also several other benefits. Hence, the holistic success of these students needs to be advocated for and encouraged.

English Oxford living Dictionaries define University as "A high-level educational institution in which students study for degrees and academic research is done". The University is such a pivotal and critical institution in society that students who get the opportunity to study in this institution must be given the needed support to excel in it.

Having worked and studied at the University for some time now, I am convinced that the principles shared in this book will go a long way to help students succeed academically, spiritually, emotionally and psychologically. I am particularly excited at this book because it is practical and spot on in a manner, which will make our students, succeed.
