Autorenporträt
Scott Wilson has been in full-time pastoral ministry for more than 20 years. He is the Senior Pastor of The Oaks Fellowship located in Dallas, Texas. In the last three years, the church has experienced robust growth, nearly tripling in size—now ministering to nearly 3,000 people each week. Dozens of pastors and leaders have been strengthened to fulfill their destiny and dreams through Scott Wilson Consulting. The organization comes alongside church and marketplace leaders to enable them to achieve the full potential of what God has called them to do. Scott helped start, with his father, Dr. Tom Wilson, one of the most innovative public school systems in the State of Texas. Life School currently educates 4,000 students in five locations in the Dallas area. Each year, parents camp out overnight to enroll their children in these schools. Under Scott's visionary leadership, The Oaks School of Leadership was founded in 1998. Graduates of the 2-year program, while being trained and equipped for high impact ministry leadership, receive 48 university credit hours from Southwestern Assembly of God University Scott is the author of several books. His previous titles include "The Next Level: A Message of Hope for Hard Times" (Baxter Press) and "Steering Through Chaos: Mapping a Clear Direction in the Midst of Transition and Change" (Zondervan). Scott can be heard as a regular special guest on the Matt Friedmann Show on American Family Radio.
