James J. (Jong Hyuk) Park received Ph.D. degrees in Graduate School of Information Security from Korea University, Korea, and Graduate School of Human Sciences from Waseda University, Japan. From December 2002 to July 2007, Dr. Park had been a Research Scientist of R&D Institute, Hanwha S&C Co., Ltd., Korea. From September 2007 to August 2009, he had been a Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kyungnam University, Korea. He is now a Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Interdisciplinary Bio IT Materials, Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Korea.
Vincenzo Loia (B.S. ‘85, M.S. ‘87, Ph.D. ‘89) is Full Professor of Computer Science. His research interests include intelligent agents, ambient intelligence, and computational intelligence. Currently, he is Founder & Editor-in-Chief of “Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing”, and Co-Editor-in-Chief of “Softcomputing”,Springer-Verlag. He has been Chair of the Emergent Technical Committe “Emergent Technology”, IEEE CIS Society, and Vice-Chair of Intelligent Systems Applications Technical Committee.
Dr. Yi Pan is currently a Regents’ Professor and Chair of Computer Science at Georgia State University, USA. He has served as an Associate Dean and Chair of Biology Department during 2013–2017 and Chair of Computer Science during 2006–2013. Dr. Pan joined Georgia State University in 2000, was promoted to Full Professor in 2004, named a Distinguished University Professor in 2013, and designated a Regents’ Professor in 2015. Dr. Pan received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Computer Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, in 1982 and 1984, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, USA, in 1991.
Yunsick Sung is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Multimedia Engineering at Dongguk University Seoul, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He received the B.S. degree in Division of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Pusan National University, Busan, Republic of Korea, in 2004, the M.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Dongguk University Seoul, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2006, and the Ph.D. degree in Game Engineering from Dongguk University Seoul, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2012. He was the Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Florida, Florida, USA, between 2012 and 2013.
