Autorenporträt
Srikanth Ponnada MRSC is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Herring's Group at the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department, Colorado School of Mines, U.S.A. Previously he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. He received his Dual Degree Master's in Applied Chemistry from Andhra University, India and his PhD is in the area of ''Functional Materials and their Electrochemical Applications in Batteries and Sensors.'' As a part of his PhD, he worked at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. His current research includes functional materials synthesis, polymer electrolyte membranes, fuel cell assembly and engineering, energy storage, conversion devices, electrochemical sensors, electrocatalysis, and electrochemical engineering for net zero emissions and carbon neutrality. He previously worked at the CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute-India as a Project Assistant Level-III in lead-free perovskites-based photovoltaics and electrocatalysis and at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad as project research fellow in gold nanoparticle-assisted heterogeneous catalysis in alcohol and hydrocarbon oxidation reactions. Susmita Naskar FHEA is Assistant Professor in the faculty of Engineering & Physical Sciences at University of Southampton, U.K. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen. Dr. Naskar was a visiting fellow during this period at University of Oxford. She was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Whitting School of Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, USA. Susmita is the founding director of the Engineered Materials and Structures Laboratory at University of Southampton. Her primary area of interest is the multiscale and multiphysics analysis of physical systems, with mechanics as its epicenter. Dr. Naskar's research findings and developments are regularly published in reputed journals and conferences.
