Autorenporträt

Prof. Dr. Philippe Block, 1980 in Brüssel geboren, ist seit 2009 Assistenzprofessor (tenure track) für Tragkonstruktionen am Institut für Technologie in der Architektur der ETH Zürich. Er studierte Architektur und Bauingenieurwesen an der Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgien und am Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, USA. Philippe Block ist seit 2009 Gründungspartner des Ingenieurbüros Ochsendorf, DeJong & Block, LLC.
