Syed Maqbool Geelani, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Cluster University, India. He is also working as an environmental consultant in wastewater treatment and natural dye extraction and works on the promotion of the latest technologies, especially phytoremediation, bioremediation, and alternatives to treat effluent usage. A reviewer/editorial board member for several journals, he has more than 50 research publications, books, and book chapters to his credit. He has presented and participated in numerous state, national, and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposia. Rouf Ahmad Bhat, PhD, is working in the Department of School Education, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, India. He is an author of many research articles and book chapters and has published over 40 books with international publishers. With a specialization in limnology, toxicology, phytochemistry, and phytoremediation, Dr. Bhat has participated in numerous state, national, and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and symposiums. He has worked as an associate environmental expert on a World Bank-funded Flood Recovery Project and on Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded development projects. He has received many awards and recognition for his work on water, air, and noise analysis. Fernanda Maria Policarpo Tonelli, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Federal University of São João del Rei, Divinópolis, MG, Brazil. She specializes in biotechnology/molecular biology and has been studying nanomaterials applications such as delivery and remediation as well as green synthesis protocols, and allelopathic potential of secondary metabolites from plants. She has published books, scientific articles, and more than 30 book chapters. Dr. Tonelli is active in scientific advocacy groups for women. Her efforts as a researcher have been recognized with various awards, including from L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science, Brazilian Academy of Sciences, and Under 30 Brazil (Forbes).
