Baby Boomer, Ross ... ADVENTURE, is the third part of the autobiography trilogy of the life journey of Ross Taylor (born in Australia in 1947) as part of the Baby Boomer generation. The first and second parts of his recollections cover the areas of education, working and ministry whereas this book ADVENTURES is taken from journaled trips with good mates into the wilds of the Australian countryside. The first adventure was back in 1971, to find a way to the top of Mt Dalrymple (located near Mackay), from the western side. The 2015 adventure was a boat trip down the Murray River (that forms the border between Victoria and New South Wales), and later in 2019, a trip to the tip of Australia, Cape York. The fourth adventure was two weeks on Fraser and Bribie Islands, located just offshore and north of Brisbane and finally in March 2023 Ross visited Israels historical sites.

Autorenporträt
Ross Taylor arrived into the world in 1947 and, as a result, became part of the generation known as the Baby Boomers. He was born to a working-class family in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, to a father who worked as a cabinet maker and coach builder for the Railways. Ross' mother's full-time job was raising him and his three sisters, Joy, Annette being older and Judith, the youngest.

The first fifteen years of Ross's life was devoted to education; the next thirty years as a radio and television technician with the PMG, then the past thirty years as a minister of religion. Just like everyone else, he had numerous, add-on branches, twists, and turns on his journey of life. In the '70s, he was trained as an infantry officer with the Reserve Forces. Then in '80s he completed Bible College. Throughout his life he participated in several project management rolls in building television stations, church and school buildings. He also directed a number of community support organisations.

Ross and Diane currently live in Townsville, Queensland. They have three children, Robert, Greg and Roslynne who are all married and living their own journeys. Their eight grandchildren are well on their way to adulthood.

Ross reveals: "I am smiling at the future and trying to enjoy retirement ... although the call of the wild is still whispering ... what's next?"
