What happens when the letters of the alphabet hold hands with their friends? Especially when those friends are other letters in the alphabet. In The Adventures of A, B, and C, children will be excited to see the letters transform into pictures showing what fun the letters have when they combine to make new words and embark on exciting adventures. They will learn how, just by changing a few letters the pictures change into something completely different. Designed to help children discover the fun in learning to read, it offers a novel way to teach children the early formation of language.

Laraine Birnie Ph.D. is a retired clinical psychologist with two daughters and five grandchildren. She lives with her daughter Sarah whose children request that she tell stories on a daily basis and so fuel her creative energies. She previously published a children's fictional story but wanted to write a book for her grandchildren who will soon be learning to read.
