Mercedes Heymer is an Australian author who lives on the Queensland coast with her husband, Garry, and their little dog, Skipper. She is passionate about Kombis and sailing (not at the same time), and loves to share their holidays with their three adult children and six grandchildren. Her Kombi, Marigold, is real and the adventures are based on her real adventures in Australia.
