Rusty Burson is the Director of Membership and Communications at Miramont Country Club, where he started in September 2014. From 19982014, Burson was the associate editor of 12th Man Magazine and vice president with the 12th Man Foundation. Burson, a 1990 graduate of Sam Houston State, began his professional career as a newspaper sports reporter and editor with The Galveston Daily News in 1990. He spent three years in Galveston before moving to The Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
