In the forefront of which he said: As for yet, I loved to collect in this book of good poetry, what was available to me collected from the books of literature, and there was no effort in its arrangement and choice according to my deficient knowledge, so I am my pleasure who looked at what was in it. What he desirable from the verses of some poems and left the rest of them, and it made it ten gates.
