Paustovsky considered Alexander Blok a brilliant poet, loved and appreciated his work. He was very depressed by the fact that there was no Alexander Blok Museum in Leningrad. And he often visited the northern capital, arguing in writers' circles, party and public, that there should be at least a museum-apartment in the house on Pryazhka. And this amazingly attractive museum in its authenticity was opened! The book about Blok was included in a series of works about creativity and people of art.
