He grew up in a decent family. When Ali Mubarak was born, the entire village was happy with his birth, out of courtesy to his father and his mother, who had not given birth before him. Except for girls, and he learned the principles of reading and writing, and his sharp intelligence, intense ambition, and overwhelming desire for learning pushed him to leave his town to join the jihad school in Al-Qasr Al-Aini in the year (1251 AH / 1835 AD) when he was twelve years old. The school was a boarding school governed by a strict military regime. A year later, the Jihadi school in Al-Qasr Al-Aini was abolished, and the medical school was assigned to this place. Ali Mubarak moved with his colleagues to the preparatory school in Abu Zaabal, and its education system was better and more advanced than the Al-Qasr Al-Aini school. He memorized the Holy Qur'an at the hands of Sheikh Ahmed Abi Khadr. When he went to Sheikh Ahmed Abi Khadr, he saw him with a harsh face next to a thick stick falling on the children's bodies for the most trivial reasons. Ali was horrified by the idea of the Sheikh. Five years had passed. He was chosen with a group of outstanding students to join the Engineer Khana School in Bulaq. In the year (1255 AH / 1839 AD), its principal was a French engineer called "Youssef Lambez Bey." Ali Mubarak stayed in the school for five years, during which he studied algebra, geometry, chemistry, minerals, geology, mechanics, astronomy, lands, etc., until he graduated in the year (1260 AH). 1844 AD).
