My oldest Granddaughter spent a great deal of time with her Grannie She now constantly wants to make tamales ( as she was fought very young) She is now a soon to be first time Mommy and very excited about this book for her new Little Rug Rat. I can never forget the very young little girl who was 5 yrs old that lived in a Mobile Park very close to mine, every day she would knock on my door after getting out of pre-school with her home work..( I fell in love with this little girl ) She would stand there on the stairs with that beautiful smile and say Grandma can you help me with my home work? At that I had her every day after school and weekends, she partially became my little girl.............This little girl is now in her twenty's now living quite far away..I always remember her as the little girl lost.

Coming from a very large family of 8 boy's and I being the last girl I was always some what of a Tom Boy, My education was limited I only finished Jr. High School after I became and adult, then to a Senior who retired I said I am going to educate myself...bought a typewriter and had no idea I was a self proclaimed artist put my self reaching for different avenue's as I always wanted to write a children's book and do all the illustrations myself also is the reason for this book that I hope reaches out to many parents, and children to enjoy
