Corey tries to revive her but soon realizes that she is in no danger and allows his lecherous impulses guide him. But, her trials are far from over. Her lover is leaving to be a cavalry officer and she is being sent to Calais. If this were not enough, she is captured by pirates on her way to France, but that is a story for the next episode.
