Helen Byrne was born in Morewnstow in Cornwall and worked as a groom for Mendip Farmers¿ Hunt until the age of twenty-one, when she retired due to illness. Helen loved horse riding and scuba diving. She possessed an in-depth knowledge of horses and wrote the book All About the Horse at just sixteen years old. She is missed by all who knew her.
