Autorenporträt

Tom Cooper was born in South London on September 14, 1935. He was educated at St Dunstan's College, Catford. He spent two years in national service in RAF before starting as an engineer in 1960 with LEO computers. In 1964, he was offered a position with Australian Computers. He moved to Australia. Cancer caused loss of his leg and part of his lung in 1966. He has lived happily in Australia since he retired in 1985. His main interests are painting and poetry plus sports, particularly Rugby Union and cricket.
