THE AUTHOR El Mouatamid BEN ROCHD holds a BA in American Civilization (Fez 1978), an MA in French Linguistics, (York 1982) and PhD in Arabic linguistics (Dublin 1991). He has published many books and articles about different subjects, including Evolution of Chomsky's Transformational Grammar and WORDS- Traditions in Linguistics.
