The book of ammunition in the merits of the people of the island, written by Abu al -Hasan Ali bin Bassam al -Shantinini, is one of the flags of the Andalusian writers and critics, in the fifth and sixth centuries AH. As for the historical importance of the book, it is due to its retaining lengthy paragraphs from the book "Al -Matin" by Sheikh Al -Andalusian historians of Abu Marwan bin Hayyan (d. 469 AH/ 1076 CE), which is the date that did not reach us, in which Ibn Hayyan - with his eloquent style, his sincerity and his harassment - the history of Andalusia in the era kings of Denominations. These paragraphs, which Ibn Bassam mentioned in the book "The Ammunition in the Leaders of the People of the island" are all that we have reached from the book "Al -Matin".
