Autorenporträt

After earning his doctorate, Chris Teepe taught for three years at three different colleges before deciding that the paychecks were too generous and the job security too comforting (also, he fell in love). Exploiting his talent for writing solved two of these three problems. His first book, An American Song, focused on the stories told to him by Americans during a 48-state tour of the country. Since its completion he has dedicated his time to speculative literature and science fiction of a literary slant. He lives with his immensely supportive wife, Jennifer, and his less patient and understanding dogs, Piper and Áine, in Albany, New York.
