Valerie Miller was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After graduating from college in 2014, she began working for the Philadelphia Phillies, first as an intern and later as a full-time employee. Today, she resides with her family in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. An Orphan's Tale is her debut novel.
