This compilation introduces some famous figures of the ancient Bozburun peninsula, namely the Khersonesos. Squeezed between the rising mighty powers of the Hellenistic world, the peninsula fell into the clutches of Rhodes for more than two centuries. Following this, historic buildings transformed into museums in Ulus, Ankara are evaluated according to their past, present, and future perspectives, their eligibility for transformation, and their design approaches. The authors record the traditional medicinal plant knowledge pertaining to Van Province comprehensively, in an effort to preserve valuable local knowledge which has been threatened by urbanization. Additionally, a summary of ethnopharmacological information on toxic plants traditionally used by the indigenous people of Van Province is provided.
