You may be familiar with the women in this study. What's different about this study is it will teach you how these women were victorious when all hell attacked and what you should do. From the examples of their lives you will know the secret of bold, unshakeable confidence in the mountain-moving faith in the promises of God. Each of the ten women profiled experienced God in a unique way. Their circumstances varied. Yet God met them where they were. As these women were receptive to what God was developing in their lives, each received a custom-made blessing from His hand. You can receive a blessing from God, too. …mehr

Autorenporträt
Rebekah Binkley Montgomery began her writing career in grade school writing poetry for a church newsletter. "If my father wasn't the pastor, my poems wouldn't have seen ink. It gave me the writing bug." In high school, she wrote stories for Primary Days (Scripture Press), a Sunday school paper. From 1972-1984, she was on staff of several evangelical churches writing illustrated sermons, plays, musicals, devotionals, teaching materials, and articles. As a freelance writer, she was senior editor of six craft and special interest publications while managing a support staff. She produced thirty-eight issues a year, plus one-shot specials, books, calendars, and other items. In the areas of nostalgia and collectibles, the titles under her editorship achieved the highest circulation in their genre. She was a well-known speaker for women's retreats, conferences, children's camps, and Bible schools both in the states and internationally. Rebekah also hosted a satellite collector's show for Shop At Home network (Knoxville, TN) for two years. She has served as pastor of a country church, children's pastor, pulpit fill, interim pastor, associate pastor, and women's and children's pastor. Rebekah attended Christian Training Center, Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne Bible College, Institute of Fine Arts, IU-Purdue, Fort Wayne campus, American Institute of Holy Land Studies, and Jerusalem University College, Jerusalem. Her course of studies included Bible history and exegesis, and literature. She was on the Board of Directors of Right to the Heart, co-publisher of Jubilant Press, and was twice sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism as a visiting journalist. She also attended post-graduate classes in Israel. Business and Professional Women named her a 2009 Woman of the Year. She was the 2010 recipient of the Beyond Me award for service. In 2003, she contracted West Nile encephalitis from an infected mosquito resulting in right side paralysis. She taught herself to function left-handed, eventually regaining most of her righthanded skill. She was diagnosed in 2016 with viral parkinsonism. She continued to speak and teach until creeping disability robbed her of reliable speech. Today, sometimes she can talk: sometimes she can't. Her sister Ruth Binkley Whatley acts as her stand-in voice. Ancient Secrets of Ten Bible Women is her 10th published book. Other titles include the Harvest of... series, and Ordinary Miracles (Promise Press); Faithprints: Touching Your World for Jesus (Leafwood), and her first novel Hunt the Straight Path Home (Abundance Books) for which she was awarded Historical Novel of the Year by Advanced Writers and Speakers Association. She estimates she has written over 1000 articles. She lives in Decatur, Indiana, with John her husband of fifty-three years and Steve, their cat. She has three grown children and two grandchildren. Her webpage is rebekahmontgomery.comEmail address: info@rebekah.orgFind her on Facebook at RebekahBinkleyMontgomery
