Autorenporträt

You should know that I am as ordinary as they come. I grew up near Detroit, Michigan, in a small Polish community. Attending Saginaw Valley State University, I received a Bachelor of Arts in education. After teaching for two years, I moved to Boca Raton, Florida, where the Lord began to teach me to walk with Him. I gave my heart to Him on December 24, 1983.

In 1989, I married one of my heroes, Michael S. Shank, and for twenty-four years we have been walking with the Lord. Our children, Anna seventeen, and Emily fifteen, walk with us.

We reside in the rural Ohio River town of New Martinsville, West Virginia. At Lighthouse Community Church where my husband is Pastor, we try and gather others to walk with us as we walk with God. That way, He gets all the glory!

My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28 which reads, "All things work together for good," and there are days when I have said to Him, "Are you kidding me?"

Only because He is an amazing God can I write.
