The author's interest in the tension between shamanic spirituality and practical reality, as well as his advocacy for those who have quest experiences, becomes a source of humor and education for the contemporary person.

For Marsupial Mole Dreaming: The author has taught a college course on the art of Indigenous cultures, which includes lectures on aboriginal symbolism of Australia.
