Digger, an Australian, takes him to ANZAC Night at the TRANZAC Club, where he meets the Maori Maiden. Their love/hate relationship will take them to New Zealand and back. She seeks a macho, rugby-playing man with whom she can fight (literally), while he's a dancing fool, looking for a girlfriend with whom he can snuggle and smooch. If their difference don't pose a large enough hurdle, he's been told that if he hurts her, Little Big Brother will pummel him to death and feed him to the dogs.

Will our hero and his Maori Maiden ever be a couple? Given their differences, can their relationship survive?
