The manuscript discusses the basic techniques that are the foundation for more advanced ones. These include learning the 12 strikes of the system and the defense and counters against it.
Specific and more advanced ways of defense and offense are learned by repeating the many examples that are given, i.e. Sablig, Tukas, Suyop, and Yakap.
Defensive-offensive techniques like Sinawali, Panilhid, Sasa, use of the left hand, and Disarms are exemplified numerous times.
There are some necessary and very important techniques to learn to give the practitioner greater skill in the execution of certain techniques as an edge against his opponent; these are: Puk-puk, Maglalatik, Hip and shoulder rotations, Dirty finger, Stick release, Trangka, and Lansis.
The last part of the manuscript mentions certain objectives to mentally help the eskrima student in the study and execution of this art.
