Autorenporträt
Gurkan Ozenen, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at Istanbul Health and Technology University. He began his academic career as a full-time Assistant Professor at Dogus University, Istanbul, in 2017, serving until 2021. He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Architectural Design Computing from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Architecture from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, awarded in 2016, 2007, and 2004, respectively. As an accomplished expert in architectural design computing, Dr. Ozenen has conducted extensive research in generative design, digital fabrication, and computational design. His research interests include building information modeling, parametric design, and interactive architecture. He has taught various courses related to architectural design computing, including digital fabrication, design algorithms, and interactive architecture.
