However, while crossovers between architecture and SF have proliferated, the home is often overshadowed by the spectacle of 'otherness'. By examining the home from the estranging perspective of SF, and in particular, the films based on Phillip K. Dick's books, this work offers a unique critical analysis with particular relevance for contemporary architecture.
