Jay P Joubert known also known as Jay, born as Johannes Petrus Joubert, is a South-African citizen, born in Empangeni; Kwa-Zulu Natal; South-Africa. Jay P matriculated in 2007 with Richards Bay High School. He started writing formally in 2009, he had put his hand first to help uplift the people around him. This developed into people advising him to write and publish a formal book. He laid the dream to rest for an appropriate time. Jay P focused his writing energy on his other passion, which is music and in 2012 he became a registered Author, lyricist and composer of light music with SAMRO, giving out his first actual full length demo Gospel Music album: Accents of Light in 2013. Jay P is an award winning actor & singer with awards in Local & National Competitions such as AKTV Tiener-Toneel, Zululand Eisteddfod & Bayside Idols. Jay P is a TV appeared Gospel Artist and his music is soon becoming well known on the web. Jay P is a theology student and active ministry leader, and aims to establish himself in writing, writing music and ministry. He currently resides in his home town Richards Bay; South-Africa, where he continues to write and co-write songs for both him and other upcoming artists in the industry. Jay P publishes his first book ARISE under the flagship of Xlibris in 2014. Jay P continues to influence and encourage many people with the written word, with the help of God.
