Autorenporträt
Stephanie deLusé, an Honors Faculty Fellow in Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, is an Arizona native who roller-skated on campus before she knew what a university was. She later earned three degrees there and became an author and award-winning teacher. Denise Bates, historian and author of The Other Movement: Indian Rights and Civil Rights in the Deep South, is also an award-winning faculty member at Arizona State University. Images for this book were contributed by people across local communities and collected from the University Archives, Arizona State University Libraries, and the Tempe History Museum.
