Brendan Leonard has bicycled across America, spent a month rafting through the Grand Canyon, bicycled across Norway¿s Lofoten Islands, trekked Italy¿s Alta Via routes, hiked the original Haute Route, traversed Wyoming¿s Wind River Range and Coloradös Sangre de Cristo Range by foot, climbed big walls in Zion National Park, skied off the summits of peaks in Colorado, Washington, and Switzerland, and has never been without a full-time job since he finished graduate school in 2004. His website, Semi-Rad.com, reaches half a million unique readers each year with stories about the everyman¿s and everywoman¿s adventure. He makes a living as a full-time freelance creative, writing articles and books, producing and directing short films, and developing advertising content. His editorial work has appeared in Alpinist, CNN, Outside, Men¿s Journal, National Geographic Adventure, Backpacker, Adventure Cyclist and dozens of other publications. He is a contributing editor at Adventure Journal and The Dirtbag Diaries podcast, and is a former contributing editor at Climbing Magazine.
