As Far As you want to go…
These thirteen stories are all over the place! Tales from far-future Namibia to near future Connecticut; from farther flung planets to fantastical Earths and even in a few far-from-exotic North American towns.
The characters-both human and…not-will stay with you long after The End: a dear robot gives "upload" new meaning, an apocalypse survivor attempts to stay human, a centenarian on a colony ship turns subversive, an "up-donk" clarinetist in Tijuana is framed for murder, a mother and son contend with "helpful" home invaders, a grieving girl on the Texas Gulf…mehr

Autorenporträt
Nancy SM Waldman grew up in Texas but now lives in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia with her husband Barry where she writes from the calm solidity of a house built in 1900 with views of the woods and just enough wildlife to keep things interesting. She has an outpost across the Butterfly Bridge from her beloved sister in the mountains of western North Carolina.

Nancy loves to cook and enjoys just about any cooking show except Master Chef Canada, which, for some reason, is simply unwatchable. Early on in the pandemic she made and delivered masks for the community. She also took up knitting, which quickly became an obsession. She has been known to sew clothes, quilt, paint, illustrate, do photography and websites, create Second Life fashions, and grow things. She sits on the Board of her husband's educational charity, EPIC. In earlier times, she was an RN and holds a Master of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing degree.

She has three grandchildren and two sons who cause her to count herself among the luckiest of human beings.

In addition to her short stories, Nancy writes novels. Stay tuned.
