Autorenporträt
The author has gone through various stages of his own Christian path. Raised Catholic, he first grew up with old-fashioned strict nuns as teachers, who put the fear of hell and the hope of heaven in him. Then in high school, after excelling in sports as an all-star pitcher and giving the Valedictorian speech, he entered New College at the University of Alabama and became a hippie. Following that, he wandered off and became immersed in a symbolic world for several weeks, which ended in his deep conversion to Christianity.

After being a "Jesus Freak," he finished college with a degree in philosophy and a graduate program in counseling psychology. From there, he attempted to do service in the world, working with the homeless and being an advocate for those hospitalized who had been in psychiatric hospitals. He began collecting writings from these groups and began writing himself. The author also worked with children in preschools, and a progressive elementary school, he helped found. His love of storytelling with children led him to write stories in animals.

After the death of his brother, John, the author fulfilled a promise and published his work, beautiful letters to their mom and dad, who had passed. After the loss of his brother, the author wrote letters to him, and letting go, began releasing his work into the world. He married late in life and has a wonderful son. Now, a bit like the Phoenix, the author continues to renew and is writing new material from different disciplines. He also publishes works from others, especially those who are older and whose vision might otherwise be lost to the world. All in all, he hopes to do some good in the world and make a difference in at least a few people's lives.
