Produktbeschreibung
I grew up in a small town outside of Washington DC. During my three tours in Vietnam, in the US Navy, I saw things that changed my life. I completed my service in the Navy returning to the USA when I was 22 years old. I came to the realization that being Christian was not just going to church. It's a lifestyle. I wanted to live this lifestyle, so I sold all that I had and began serving the Lord. When I heard Jesus say not to Lay up for ourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal, but lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth or rust can corrupt, and where thieves do not break through or steal, for where our treasure is, there will our heart be also. I knew that was what I wanted so I served the Lord for 17 years in South America and Spain. You will find many events both good and bad, difficult times and joyful times in this book. After returning to the States from South America, I saw the great spiritual need we have here. I wanted to reach the USA with the Gospel, the good news that Jesus can take our sins if we let Him, and He will allow us to live with Him in eternity. I started offering to assist congregations to become motivated and mobilized to perform the task of sharing their faith in Jesus the Christ. Knowing this life is short. I have pledged to give my life to assist and train others in reaping God's harvest of souls, as He commanded us to do in Mark 16:15 and Matthew 9:37-38. My hope is you too will be inspired to follow some of the examples of how to share the Gospel that is written in this book. Enjoy 383 pages

Autorenporträt
I have made many mistakes during my lifetime. I have not become a perfect person since following Jesus, but I have become a student of God's Word, and a son of the living God. I am seeking to learn to be as loving and kind as Jesus. We are in a spiritual war, Ephesians 6:12. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Jesus's Holy Spirit has helped me through many battles. His love has never failed me. He has given me the Grace to overcome many sins. Somehow, He has seen fit to use me to share the Gospel with many. If I calculate 2 people a day, it would come to 35,040 people and multiplied by an average of 6 brothers and sisters sharing with me this number could be multiplied by 6. These are people who we shared the good news of the Gospel face to face. The reason I am sharing this is not to boast but to bring to your attention that if we are faithful to share the Gospel our influence for the Kingdom of God adds up. If we train others to share the Gospel our influence in this world multiplies. He is faithful to use our lives, even if we are not perfect. Jesus is perfect and that's what counts. I have submitted to His Lordship over my life. I understand that eternal life "the entrance into Heaven" is a free gift. When Jesus died on the cross, He removed all sin. Every human being has a choice to believe in what He has done and allow Him to take away their sins or not believe and stand before God at judgment without the cleansing blood of Jesus the Christ. It's a choice. It's your choice. We as believers, need constant cleansing from defilement contracted in this pilgrim walk through this fallen world. Titus 3:5 tells us; not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit. We all need this washing of our souls and renewing of the Holy Spirit daily to keep an open connection with God through His Holy Spirit. Heaven is a non-returnable gift when someone "truly" receives Jesus as their Savior. The Holy Spirit's cleansing allows us to live in a pleasing way in our Father's eyes while we walk in this world. "Something for you to think about, If someone is not happily loving Jesus here on earth, they will not be happy living with Him for eternity".
