In 1922 the greatest disaster suffered by Hellenism occurred. For the first time in 3,000 years the Greek civilization ceased to develop on one of the two shores that gave birth to it. The conclusions, especially those that we do not like, are the minimum honor that is appropriate to the memory of what was lost at the time, our own lost people.
