Written in Defoe's signature realistic and detail-oriented style, the book presents a vivid and thought-provoking depiction of a fictional society. This work is considered a precursor to the modern novel, showcasing Defoe's innovative approach to storytelling and his ability to blend realism with imagination. With sharp social commentary and intricate world-building, 'Atalantis Major' remains a classic piece of literature that continues to captivate readers today. Daniel Defoe, a prolific writer of the 17th century, drew on his own experiences and observations of society to create this insightful and engaging work.
