Autorenporträt
Der Urgroßvater des Autors wurde 97 Jahre alt und verstarb kurz vor dessen vierzehntem Geburtstag. Seine abenteuerlichen Geschichten über Deutsch-Südwestafrika und die Melbers hat er nie vergessen. Seit 2008 leitet Boris Reinhard verschiedene Hilfsprojekte in Namibia. Bereits während seines ersten Aufenthalts und eines Abstechers nach !Aus bekamen die Erzählungen seines Urgroßvaters ein neues Gesicht. Die alten Geschichten sowie seine eigenen Eindrücke inspirierten ihn zum historischen Roman ¿!Aus ¿ Es geschah in Deutsch-Südwest¿. Nach dem Beginn seiner Laufbahn als obdachloser Straßenmusiker spielte Boris Reinhard in einem erfolgreichen Gitarrenduo und bekam einige Jahre später die Chance, als Komponist zu arbeiten. Die dadurch entstandenen finanziellen Möglichkeiten und Kontakte nutzt der Autor seit 2008 für den Betrieb einer privaten Entwicklungshilfeorganisation.
