Autorenporträt
A Nortel, GTE and Fujitsu alumnus, Dr. Chatterjee has done pioneering work in the area of packet networks, ISDN, digital switching, ATM and wireless technology. He brings over 30 years of expertise in specific knowledge of the information technology and telecommunications field, associated with business planning. He was Director of Global R&D for Fujitsu and published technical papers. He led a group in the strategic business rationales for creation of the first broadband superhighway in North Carolin,a using ATM technology for distance learning and telemedicine applications. Since leaving Fujitsu, Dr. Chatterjee has acted as a technical and business advisor to Network Optic Communications and Quad Research. He also co-founded Eximsoft International and had been running it successfully for the last 15 years. He has pioneered a prototype development of secured mobile e-commerce following the Mobile Electronic Transactions (MeT) standard (at its early stage in 2000s) in collaboration with Ericsson (mobile company) and Entrust (an internet security company) that was showcased in many countries. He has two trademarks (TPP(TM) and SMA(TM)) on new business ideas. He earned his Ph.D in Computer Communications Networks at the University of Ottawa, Canada.
