We follow 7-year-old Alex through a typical day of "sheltering in place" during the coronavirus pandemic. In the quiz, the child will have to make decisions about what Alex should do to help avoid catching coronavirus. This is the child's chance to become a Superhero to Alex! In order to protect Alex, they will need their virtual Superhero Shield! The more correct decisions that they make, the bigger their shield will be. If their shield is big enough, they will protect Alex from the virus, and Alex will be safe! If their shield isn't big enough, Alex will be in danger of catching the virus. So, the book can be read again and again until the child earns the entire virtual Superhero Shield to help Alex Avoid the Virus!
