Dr. Stan Mars and his wife Vicki are simple servants of God who desire to serve God by serving others. Dr. Mars received his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Liberty University along with his master's degree in Theological Studies, a master's degree in Divinity, and a master's degree in Pastoral Counseling. Dr. Mars is currently pursuing his PhD. in Family and Marriage Counseling from Amridge University. Though his academic achievements are many, Dr. Mars simply says, "In all of my studies, the greatest blessing is that God taught me to love and minister to others!"

One major understanding that Dr. Mars received from his studies is that sadly, the American Church is slowly dying, and many churches are dead due to man's sin. His love for God and God's Church is a driving force behind the writing of this book. He admits that without his connection to God in Christ and the love and support of his wife, Vicki, he would have never been equipped to accomplish a thing.

Dr. Stan and Vicki Mars live in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains in Northern Arkansas and they serve God through the Christ United Ministry. Christ United Ministry is a Disciple Making Camp that is dedicated to the commandment of Jesus Christ found in Matthew 28: 19-20.
