Spring Cora holds two degrees in subjects best not mentioned in polite society: A Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colorado State University and a Master of Divinity from the Iliff School of Theology. She spent ten years as a substitute teacher at Valley High School, along with a slew of other jobs in her adult life.

She taught herself the craft of novel writing in her spare time, though her heart was always focused on telling a great story.
