Lisa Garrett has always loved challenging children to think outside the box. As a musician, this adventure of writing children's books has given her a new "voice". She now can entertain them in creative ways with words. It is so rewarding to see the expression on a child's face as they hear her stories and are introduced to new adventures.

As an educator, she also loves presenting young minds new methods in which to play with words to tell a story, and this new story does just that. In this, her second book, she has told a story about a baby lamb and how he learns to trust the shepherd that takes care of the flock. It is a good lesson for children to learn to trust their parents as well.

Lisa also wants to help children learn more about the world around them and that is why she has included information at the end of this book about the history of sheep and shepherding. She hopes parents will have fun learning right along with their children all about sheep and shepherds.
