Annemarie Nikolaus comenzó a escribir literatura a principios de 2001. Después de publicar muchos cuentos, su primera novela fue publicada en 2005. Ahora publica sus obras de forma independiente. Nació en Hesse/Alemania y vivió en el norte de Italia durante 20 años. En 2010, se mudó a Auvergne, Francia, con su hija. Después de estudiar psicología, periodismo, política e historia, trabajó como psicoterapeuta, consejera política, periodista, editora y traductora, entre otros.
