Autorenporträt
Born in Melbourne in 1933, Beverley attended Glen Iris Primary and Spring Road Central schools and Korowa Church of England Girls Grammar School. After a short time working at the Bank of New South Wales in Collins Street, she completed nursing training at the Alfred Hospital; followed by the midwifery certificate at St. Georges' Hospital in Kew. In search of adventure she crossed the Nullabor to Western Australia where she resides now surrounded by her family. She has been a member of the Peter Cowan Writers Centre for more than ten years. This is her first book, with a second one planned.
