Here, the gap is filled between a semi-balanced engine (RIAA Phono-Amp Engine I) and a fully balanced engine, the RIAA Phono-Amp Engine II. In this new book on hand, “fully balanced” means that each phono-amp stage ends up in a balanced - or in other words symmetrical - solution, differentially amplified. Autorenporträt
Burkhard Vogel achieved the degree Diplom-Ingenieur (Telecommunications) from Darmstadt University of Technology, Germany, in 1973. He then decided to follow a general management career path in the high-tech and IT industry in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. His passion for music and music systems made Mr Vogel an expert in Phono-Amps and Vinyl Technology. In addition to "Balanced Phono Amps" he wrote the RIAA-phono-amp designer's guide "The Sound of Silence" and the triode-reference "How to Gain Gain"
